Govardhana Dasa is the second vice Chairman of the Governing Body Commission. He also serves as Governing Body Commissioner for countries in Southern Africa and Eastern Africa.

He is an executive trustee for the African BBT and serves as a director BBTI (Bhaktivedanta Book Trust International). He is the chairman of the BTG board, he is also responsible for Back to Godhead magazine. 

Govardhana Dasa serves as a Co-Chair of the Organisational Development committee.​
