A brief description of background, roles and responsibilities:
Met the devotees in 1971 U of Texas, lost contact. Drafted into the army late 72, found BG in the library and began practicing late 73, also doing sankirtana in Panama, where I was stationed. I became involved in the Costa Rica temple as they were opening in late 74.
I went to Mayapura/Vrndavana festival in 76 after getting out of the Army, I collected for the ticket for the TP and myself. I was initiated in Vrndavana in April 76, and second initiation by mail in early 77. I was the sankirtana leader, traveling all over Central America unil 78, when I was named TP for Costa Rica. In the same year I traveling to open a temple in Panama, then to Ecuador and in 79 to Brazil, in exchange for Alanatha Swami, who came to Colombia. Then I became regional secretary for Brazil until 82, I took sannyasa in May 82 in Rio de Janiero, Brazil, and then I went to Miami. Then joined Tamal KG in Dallas, then padayatra in 86, and I became GBC of the present zone in 87
