Krishna Premarupa Dasa was born in February 1977 in Zurich, Switzerland, and grew up in a Roman Catholic environment. After the passing of his father in 1979, his mother raised him and his younger brother alone.

In his twenties, he explored various spiritual paths until discovering the books of Srila Prabhupada — a turning point that led him to dedicate his life to Krishna Consciousness. He spent a formative year in Odisha, India, and received first initiation from H.H. Bhakti Svarupa Damodara Swami in December 2002 in Imphal, Manipur, followed by second initiation in Zurich in 2004.

Back in Zurich, he served as cook, pujari, and Bhakta leader before becoming Temple President of ISKCON Zurich in 2007, a service he continued for 14 years until 2021. From 2011 to 2025, he also served as Regional Secretary (Zonal Supervisor) for ISKCON Switzerland, and from 2019 to 2025 as a Global Duty Officer.

In addition to his leadership roles, he has organized pilgrimages to India, led Japa Meditation Retreats, participated in interfaith and outreach initiatives, and teaches Bhakti Shastri and Bhakti Vaibhava courses.

Internationally, he contributes to the ISKCON Ministry of Education (“Books are the Basis”) and the Guru Services Committee (Subcommittee for Training and Assessment). He spends around seven months each year traveling, mainly in the German-speaking region.

Since February 2025, Krishna Premarupa Dasa has been serving as GBC Zonal Secretary for ISKCON Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Liechtenstein (Assistant and Area GBC).
